Torsion springs are the underlying mechanism responsible for opening your garage door. While you might think that your electric garage door opener is doing all of the work, it is actually the torsion springs that do the heavy lifting. Each of the tightly coiled springs is an energy source. It is not unlike other spring-loaded mechanisms. The mechanism that allows you to open the trunk of your car with very little effort is an example. Much smaller examples are found on the pop-up doors of compact disc players.
There are different types of wheel bearings. Don't mess with four wheel drive trucks. Passenger cars, however, come with sealed and resealable bearings. The sealable bearings are the ones you can work on. They are generally found in the non-drive wheels. If you have a front wheel drive car, they would be on the back two tires.
Now slide the rotating part of the pump shaft seal over the extended end of the shaft. Carefully push it down towards the polished face of the ceramic piece in the volute bearing technology cover plate.
The other portion of the mechanical shaft seal (rotating part with the spring) goes onto the motor shaft. This is only after the motor bracket is bolted back in place. You must use extreme care here because you don't want to damage, scratch or dirty the faces of your new seal technology.
If you have a O Ringe tractor, locate the grease fittings that are on the inside of the tires. Use a grease gun to fill the fittings. You should then grease/oil the moving parts on your tractor or lawn mower.
